My name is Myers and I'm an alcoholic. I took my last drink on January 15, 1988. I opened my first bookbindery in 1979 and, after more than 30 years in the business, my wife Londa and I decided to build a small bindery in the Texas Hill Country. We wanted a special bindery with a focus on restoration and rebinding of AA literature. We hope someday to make Lost & Found our permanent location, but until then we can still be found in Lewisville.
What we do
If you have a Big Book, then you already know how important they are. Most of us (including me) owe our lives to the message this book carries. We have "marked them up" in every way imaginable and every note has a special meaning in our recovery.
When they start to wear out or just fall apart, we are left with few choices. We can either buy a new one (painful for some) or we can fix the one we have.
You choose
Brand New Big Book - If you are ready for a new book (perhaps it's time for that BIG print version), we can sew and bind one for you in topgrain leather. We make them in different sizes and colors. Maybe you need a gift for a family member, protege or a guest speaker. We can help!
Restoration (rebind your original book) - When you just can't bear the thought of parting with YOUR Big Book and trying to mark-up a new one, send it to us and we'll rebind it in a new leather cover.
PLEASE NOTE: We just discovered that our email server was automatically deleting all incoming emails :( If you've attempted to email before, please try again now; we'd love to hear from you.
